Dmytriy Pereklita, founder of One Piece A Day, meet with Mayor of Toronto, John Tory.

Given the challenges of being an architect, an environmentalist, and a father, we can appreciate what it takes to perform the duties of a mayor.

We are grateful we had the opportunity to meet Mayor John Tory on January 23, 2020 and share our OnePieceADay initiative with him and his team. We floated the idea of helping the Mayor on his annual Earth Day clean up and using OnePieceADay to track his team’s contribution to cleaning the planet. After all, OnePieceADay is a global initiative developed and based in Toronto Canada!

Thank you Mayor John Tory! We appreciate everything you do for our city and we hope to partner with you at a clean-up soon!

We wish to acknowledge the land on which One Piece A Day operates. For thousands of years, it has been under the care of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, it is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to carry on their legacy of care for the Earth on this land.
