At the start of 2020 we reached a milestone of half a million pieces of litter picked up, and since then that number has grown to over 1,100,000 pieces.

We have also since created additional features on the app to encourage users to become more active in picking up litter, including the ability to create events events and follow other users.

Stay tuned for more features to come!

Congratulations on the feature and the amazing milestone! It took a few years to reach the half a million milestone of litter removed in early 2020, so it is amazing that we've already reached the 1 million milestone less than a year later!

We wish to acknowledge the land on which One Piece A Day operates. For thousands of years, it has been under the care of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, it is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to carry on their legacy of care for the Earth on this land.
