A Friendlier Company
This Guelph-based service, founded by chemical engineering graduates Kayli Dale and Jacquie Hutchings, sells reusable containers to restaurants for customers to rent with their orders for a small deposit. To keep the process streamlined, A Friendlier Company refunds deposits through their app, directly into the patron’s bank account. As of November 2020, A Friendlier Company has fulfilled nearly 100,000 waste-free meals.
